Reducing delays in the aviation sector

The aim of Kube was to combine multiple data sources alongside gps tracking data to help manage and orchestrate ground handling operations.

Using predictive analytics, NLP to analyse radio frequencies you could get a much more accurate time of arrival anduse that to drive an automate the scheduling of ground crews in real time.

This was just an idea but managed to get some industry traction…

27% of all flights experience an average delay of 53 minutes costing approximately $33bn a year.

Based on years of exprience

I built a prototype.

Or scan me!

I wrote a pitch deck

I applied to a prestigious competition

I got through to the quarter finals!

(based on a wing and a prayer 😳)

Sadly, that’s where the story ends

At the time I had a young family (two under two), a busy job, and so I couldn’t dedicate the time needed to bring this to market.

It is still a massive problem though and only going to get worse when drones take to the skys in a big way. So if you’re interested in talking about this then I am always open to talking!
